Golf Villa Remodel - Progress

We've cleared out the debris and have started laying tile and doing some of the mechanical work (electric and plumbing).

The orange product you see under the tile is a Schluter underlayment. It helps protect your tile from cracks by creating a flexible barrier between the foundation and the tile.

While working on the electric, we found some issues that we repaired for the homeowners. It's a good reminder to expect, an plan for, the unexpected when remodeling. You never know what you're going to find!

Un-covered eletctric gang box we found in the attic. Not to worry, we fixed this and some other wiring problems we discovered.
