Winter is the rainy season on Maui and for the past couple of weeks it's been just that. All of our job sites are mud baths, and the pools are half full. The good news is the National Weather Service says our severe drought is over!
The sun finally came back out a couple of weeks and we were able to start sheathing the roof at lot 24. Here's a quick video of our progress, the reflection of the sky in the pool looks pretty cool!
Winter is also the windy season in Hawaii. Last week, and so far this week, the winds have been at advisory levels. It's not stopping us though! We're getting ready to pour the foundation at lot 7 in Puunoa and the roofers are still working in the Kaanapali Coffee Farms and Mahana Estates.
